The service
CarHelp helps drivers understand garage quotes, dashboard lights, noises and error codes, and manage their car’s maintenance. By using the app, you accept these terms.
Information is for guidance only
Answers and estimates, including those generated by artificial intelligence, are general information for guidance only. They may contain errors and do not replace the assessment of a qualified mechanic or technical, legal or safety advice. If a red light comes on, or you notice a burning smell, smoke or abnormal brakes/steering, stop safely and call for assistance. Never use your phone while driving.
Account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity on your account. The app is intended for people aged 18 and over. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete account).
CarHelp Complete subscription
- Prices: €2.99 a month or €19.99 a year (VAT included; may vary by country).
- Free trial: 10 days for new subscribers. If you don’t cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and is charged at the price of the chosen plan.
- Renewal: automatic, at the end of each month or year, until you cancel.
- Cancellation: at any time in Play Store › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › CarHelp. You keep access until the end of the period already paid.
- Payment and refunds: handled by Google Play, under Google’s refund policies.
Without a subscription, the app keeps its free features (for example, one car, practical guides and the lists of lights and codes) and shows ads. We may change prices and features; price changes are announced before they apply to your renewal.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, to try to access other people’s accounts or data, or to overload or compromise the service.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on the app’s information or for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
Intellectual property
The app, its brand and content belong to Nogueira Dev. The data you enter remains yours.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For questions or complaints: support@carhelp.pt. As a consumer, you may also turn to an alternative consumer dispute resolution body.
